Assalam Alaykum,
RESUMPTION
We welcome all students/pupils; returning and new back to school
for the 2023/2024 Academic session, and we hope that this session
will be the best for all Insha Allah.
On Monday, September 18, 2023 there is going to be a PTC meeting of
the school Management with parents of SSS 3 and JSS 3 students in
the school hall by 1pm prompt and after which parents will be allowed
to go home with their children and wards.
We employ parents of SS1 students to obey and support their
children’s and wards’ wishes in respect of their chosen career
as it will enable them be in their best academic endeavour.
Also, the school wishes to acknowledge the co-operation of
parents/guardians in regards to dropping off of students/pupils,
but a lot still needs to be done as lateness to school affects the
psychology of the learners. In this light, learners are expected
to be in school before 8:10AM, or will not be given access into
the school with the effect from Monday, September 18, 2023.
In similar, vein, late pick-up of students/pupils will no longer be
taken lightly. The school closes by 3pm for the
primary/secondary sections, thus, parents have up to 4:30pm
to pick their children/wards and with effect from Monday,
September 18, 2023 erring parents shall be surcharged.
Furthermore, we wish to appeal to parents/guardians to
propagate and encourage their children/wards to cultivate the
habit of dressing properly in their school uniforms including the
sport wears.
All contrabands items found on the learners shall be seized and
destroyed and any act of bullying and other forms of
misconduct shall not be spared.
Penultimately, vernacular speaking is prohibited in the school,
official languages in the school are English, Arabic and French.
Any student/pupil who violates this order shall be sternly dealt
with.
May Almighty Allah continue to always guide and protect us
(Amin).
SCHOOL FEES
Parents who are yet to settle their wards/children School Fees
should endeavor to do so on or before Monday 25th September,
2023 to avoid the embarrassment of having your
wards/children sent out of class.

The annual competition, which aimed at consolidating on the excellence of students in Qur’anic knowledge and projecting the younger generation as tools for societal development was held at the NTA arena to enable schools to participate. Having reviewed the general performance, the judges unanimously picked the students of Sheikh Abubakar Gummi Academy as the overall best.”
